Advice and answers from the Kodable Team

Yes! :)

Kodable Scope and Sequence

Note: This is a goal to work toward over several years. If all your students don’t have experience with coding, you should start them all the beginning this year. Older students will just complete the work faster. See our year one scope and sequence below for details.

* Lesson plans are meant to be taught once a week for 40-50 minutes. K-2 students should work in 20-40 minute sessions. This may cause you to need more weeks to complete a unit. You can break up the direct instruction and group practice from the independent practice and assessment portions of each lesson plan. View lesson plans on your teacher dashboard.
