What is Kodable Creator?

Kodable Creator is a web-based program that introduces computer science and STEM concepts to students in grades 3–5. Through interactive, standards-aligned courses, students move beyond block coding to write real JavaScript, apply problem-solving skills, and build their own creations—all in a fun and supportive environment.

Take our online free and fun Professional Development course here for a more in depth look at Kodable Creator!

How to Assign Kodable Creator

Kodable Creator is automatically assigned to your students. To make changes, go to your Teacher Dashboard, select a class, and click on Assignments. You can unassign or edit Creator and Basics from there.

When students log in on a computer, they’ll see options for Kodable Basics and Kodable Creator. Since many Creator courses use keyboard controls, it works best on a computer and isn’t available on iPads.
