Kodable Device Compatibility

At this time, the Kodable app is supported on iPad and iPhone only and is not currently accessible on android tablets.

Compatible devices

Kodable offers different learning experiences across iOS and web platforms. Here's a breakdown of device compatibility for each:

  • Kodable Basics – Available on iOS and Web

  • BugWorld – Available on iOS only

  • Kodable Creator – Available on Web only

Web

You can play Kodable Basics and Creator on any modern computer (PC, Mac, or Chromebook) by visiting https://game.kodable.com. For best results, use the latest version of one of these browsers:

  • Google Chrome (recommended)

  • Firefox

  • Safari

  • Microsoft Edge

Note: Your device must support WebGL. Most modern computers meet this requirement.

iOS (iPad & iPhone)

The Kodable app, which includes Kodable Basics and BugWorld, is compatible with:

  • iOS devices running iOS 15 or later

  • iPads from 2018 or newer (older models may experience performance issues)

For the best experience:

  • Download the Kodable app from the App Store.

  • Avoid using Kodable in Safari on iOS β€” it is not officially supported.

Android

Kodable is not supported on Android devices.

While you may occasionally access Kodable via a browser on Android, we do not officially support this use and cannot guarantee full functionality.

Playing Offline

Children can play the Kodable app offline in the app and progress will be synced across devices the next time the player logs in while connected to the internet.
