Inviting Families to Code at Home
There are three ways you can invite parents and families to connect to a student in your class on Kodable:
Print Student login instructions
Login instructions provide student name, class code and Kodable password so students can login easily on the web or on iOS.
Head to your teacher dashboard and click on "My Classes"
View the class you want to get instructions for
Choose the Printable Instructions option
Print Parent letters
Parent letters include information about Kodable, login instructions and student names are automatically generated for ease of use. Parent letters also provide the students Parent Code, which parents can use to link to their child's account and monitor progress.
1. Head to your teacher dashboard and click on Invite Families
2. Select Print Invites
3. Select the class(s) you'd like to print
Send digital invites
There are two ways to invite parents digitally.
Bulk upload: Parents will receive an invitation via their email that will allow them to connect to their child's account in three easy steps.
1. Head to your teacher dashboard and click on Invite Families.
2. Select Invite Digitally.
3. Copy and paste parent emails to then select Invite.
Invitation link: Parent's will be able to select their child's name and automatically be invited to their account.

1. Do parents need to pay?
Parents are invited to their children's account completely for free. With free access, parents can view progress and achievements.
Parents will need to upgrade to a PRO Kodable membership for students to continue coding at home. This will unlock the entirety of Kodable and students will have access to code 24/7.
2. What happens when parents connect?
Parents will get access to a Parent Dashboard. The dashboard contains an overview of the amount of coding completed, student projects, learning tools and videos.
