How to use Clever Libraries for Single Sign On (SSO) with a Free Kodable account

If you're using Kodable for free, you can set up your classes using Clever Libraries. Students can sign into Kodable using Clever's SSO.

Clever allows you to manage all your schools, classes, teachers, and students in one place. Teachers on a free Kodable account can use Clever Single Sign On (SSO) to set up their Kodable classes.

Note: Using the Clever Secure Sync integration requires that your school or district have a Premium+ or All Access subscription. Get a quote here.

How to add your Clever classes to Kodable

Add the Kodable app from your Clever dashboard.

The first thing you will need to do is search for Kodable in your Clever dashboard and add our app from the Clever Library page:

Next, grant Kodable permission to access your rosters.ย 

From here, you will need to allow Kodable access to your Clever rosters. Simply select "Allow and Continue" to complete this step.

If this is the first time you've used Kodable, you'll be logged into Kodable and will need to add your school. After adding your school, you will be able to add your Clever classes to Kodable.

Next, add your Clever classes to Kodable

After allowing Kodable access to your Clever rosters, you'll see the option to add your Clever classes once you're logged into Kodable.

Update your Kodable classes to match your Clever data as it changes

Class rosters can change as new students are added or move. From your Kodable Teacher Dashboard, you can easily update your classes to match your Clever rosters at any time by using the "Update my Classes" button on your "Clever" page at any time.ย 

Viewing Kodable in Clever Library

You can view Kodable from within your Clever Resources library. Feel free to add Kodable to your "Favorites" tab so you can easily access and manage Kodable at any time.
