If you're a teacher or parent working with children outside of the school access window (7AM-4PM on Monday-Friday), you will encounter a screen that says "Upgrade to PRO to play after school" if they are trying to play on their school profile.
School Hours Access
Kodable's school plans, including our free Kickstart, Premium, and Premium+ accounts, provide students access to our full range of learning activities on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM local time. This ensures students can engage in coding lessons during school hours without interruption. However, outside of these hours, you will see a message prompting you to upgrade to a Pro plan.
If you are interested in your students having access to all of the Kodable apps at any time, at school or at home, consider our All Access school subscription here.
Extend Learning at Home
For families who want their children to continue learning with Kodable after school or on weekends, consider one of our Pro membership options. Upgrading gives access to Kodable Basics for K-2 foundational coding, Kodable Creator for grades 3-5, where students transition from block coding to written code while designing their own games, and Bug World, a fun, interactive game that strengthens debugging skills. These features build on previous coding knowledge and offer a deeper, more engaging way for kids to advance their coding skills after school.
