Resetting Student Progress in Kodable
There are many reasons you may want to reset a student’s progress. Maybe they need a refresher on a coding concept, haven’t used Kodable in a while, or just want the fun of completing a course again. Whatever the reason, the process is quick and simple, and you can manage it directly from your teacher dashboard.
How to Reset Student Progress
Log in to your teacher dashboard.
Click on the My Classes tab on the left-hand side.Select the class.
Choose the class where you want to reset progress.Open the Progress tab.
Once inside the class, click on the Progress tab.Click the Reset button.
Select the red Reset button.
5. A confirmation window will appear to guide you through the three-step process:
Step 1: Choose the students whose progress you’d like to reset.
Step 2: Select the courses you want to reset for them. (Please note: progress cannot be reset for Pets, Maze Maker, or Fuzz Builder.)
Step 3: Confirm your selection.
You’ll see a confirmation box that says: “I understand that reset progress cannot be restored.” Be sure to check this box to complete the reset.
⚠️ Important: Once student progress has been reset, it cannot be undone or restored.
