What are Challenges?
In the Challenges tab, students choose from Easy, Medium, and Hard levels, unlocking as they progress through coding courses. Completing four daily challenges fills the Completion Bar, rewarding students with extra in-game currency to boost motivation and learning!
What to Expect in a Challenge
Each challenge will offer a fresh, unique experience every time. Students start by selecting a game template that matches the difficulty level they’ve chosen. From there, challenges might include tasks such as:
Adding Objects: Students will be prompted to add specific objects and all their associated functions to make the game work.
Fixing Functions: Some functions may have missing or incorrect variables, challenging students to debug the code.
Addressing Bugs: Logical issues will encourage students to think critically as they fix problems within the game.
Continued Learning
The Kodable Creator Challenges are a stepping stone toward more complex coding tasks. By participating, students can sharpen their skills in debugging, function creation, and logical thinking. For educators and parents, this feature provides a structured yet flexible way to measure progress and encourage creativity.
